The Musicians
Trombonist, Producer, and Bandleader Bill Gwynne created Tower of Funk and the Choosy Mothers Horns to fulfill a need to play some really great horn band music that was popular in the 1970s and 80s. A longtime participant in the Cincinnati music scene through his work in the recording industry and playing in salsa bands he possesses the world’s least sought-after diploma: a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Trombone! Bill was an Adjunct Professor at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music for 11 years before moving to the Lowcountry in 2015 to open up Hilton Head Audioworks, a full service audio and video recording facility.
